The Birth of HERstory

HERstory was not created overnight. It was born through lived experiences, personal healing, and a desire to create the kind of space I once needed. A space where women and children 

could feel seen, supported, 

and cared for.

People often ask, “Why hair?”

The answer is simple.

Hair was never the mission. It became the way.

Cosmetology became another opportunity to meet women and children where they are. It offered a way to provide more than hair care. It became a space for connection, compassion, confidence, and care.

The mission never changed. The approach did.

Because sometimes what people need most is; 

Someone to remind them they matter.

Someone willing to be present.

Someone to listen.

Someone to care. 

That is how HERstory was born.
